Alpha Wire EcoGen

EcoWire® Hook-Up Wire

Alpha Wire EcoWire® Hook-Up Wire is fully recyclable, halogen free, and up to 40% lighter and up to 45% smaller diameter compared to standard PVC hook-up wire. This 28AWG to 10AWG wire has a -40°C to +105°C temperature range, 600V voltage rating, and stranded or solid tinned copper conductors. Alpha Wire EcoWire is insulated with modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE) thermoplastic, which does not contain heavy metal pigments. This mPPE-based insulation helps manufacturers meet WEEE requirements. This wire is ideal for medical applications.

EcoWire® Plus Hook-Up Wire

Alpha Wire EcoWire® Plus Hook-Up Wire is 100% recyclable, halogen-free wire that resists hazardous fluids, has a -40°C to +110°C temperature range, and is ideal for industrial applications. This wire is up to 15% lighter and up to 30% smaller diameter than polyethylene (XLPE) hook-up wire. Alpha Wire EcoWire Plus wire is insulated with modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE) thermoplastic and does not contain heavy metal pigments. This mPPE-based insulation helps manufacturers meet WEEE requirements. This 300V wire is available in 28AWG to 10AWG, suitable for ISO 6722, and is RoHS, REACH, and CE compliant.

EcoGen™ Wire & Cable

Alpha Wire EcoGen™ Wires and Cables are the next generation of eco-friendly, high-performance products that provide better performance in a smaller package. All EcoGen products contain no halogens, phthalates, or heavy metals. These wires and cables meet RoHS and WEEE requirements and feature modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE) insulation and jacket materials. The dielectric properties of mPPE lower the wall thickness while maintaining the same electrical properties as thicker PVC control cables.
